Roy Lave Executive Director
Roy Lave is the Executive Director of the Los Altos Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on building a stronger community in Los Altos, Los Altos Hills and the surrounding area by promoting education, recreation, culture, historic preservation, literacy, art, and philanthropy. Roy has passionately led the Foundation since 1992, building it to its current role of being an essential contributor to the local community through grantmaking, program incubation and management, philanthropic funds managent, and convening the community.
Dennis Young Chair, Board of Directors
Dennis Young is the current Chair of the Board of Directors and has served on the Board or as the Treasurer / CFO since 1992. He is an active CPA and is a partner in the local CPA firm of Young, Craig + Company, which he founded in 1977. Dennis and his wife raised their two sons in Los Altos and have lived here since 1971. He has been an active participant in the Los Altos Community as well as his profession holding leadership positions in the Los Altos Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce, Festival of Lights Parade, University of Santa Clara Accounting Advisory Board, Housing Industry Foundation, California CPA Society and the American Institute of CPAs, among others. He holds a BS degree in Accounting from the University of San Francisco and an MBA in Management from Santa Clara University
