Join us fellow LACF members as we support Relay for Life.
One important and touching aspect of the 24-hour relay is the opportunity for people to honor and remember loved ones who have faced cancer. As the sun sets and darkness falls, the night is brightened by the glow of luminaire.
Each illuminated white bag bears the name of someone who has heard the words “you have cancer.” Some luminaire honor cancer survivors and others help us remember those who have died of cancer. Each represents an individual or family that has been profoundly affected by this disease.
We invite you to join us for hearty hors d’oeuvres and wine at our home on Friday, June 13th, from 4:30 to 7:30 pm to make your own luminaire. These will be placed around the track the night of the Relay for Life , held at Egan Middle School. Relay for Life’s suggested donation for each luminaire is $10.
