Historic Immigrant House, built before 1888, represents the courage and contributions of those who built Mountain View and who continue to enrich our community and economy. It is the sole remainder of the hundreds of tiny homes, which once dotted the fruit orchards filling this valley. First saved from demolition in 2012 and then moved to a temporary location at Mountain View’s Municipal Operations Center, its future home has been designated. It will sit on the beautiful, rustic property slated to become Mountain View’s newest park (771 N. Rengstorff Ave.)
