Animal Assisted Happiness (AAH) Animal Assisted Happiness enriches the lives of children experiencing health or family challenges. As a non-profit organization, AAH provides children and family animal interaction services to bring moments of happiness and a smile into their daily lives.


Assistance League of Los Altos Assistance League® of Los Altos is a non-profit tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization consisting of an all volunteer membership. Costume Bank on 169 State Street, Los Altos, CA is our year long fundraiser that supports our philanthropic projects. Volunteers accepted year round including our Assisteens® Auxiliary for teens grades 7-12.

Bring Me a Book Foundation Bring Me A Book’s mission is to strengthen the language and literacy skills of underserved children while also igniting their passion to read.


Carb DM Carb DM’s mission is to build a supportive community that improves the quality of life and health of all those affected by type 1 diabetes.


Center for Age-Friendly Excellence (CAFE) (LACF) CAFE, a project of the Los Altos Community Foundation, is advancing understanding of Age-Friendly cities and communities. CAFE intends to drive transformational change in creating healthy, active, sustainable, and engaged inter-generational communities.


Challenge Team The MVLA Challenge Team builds meaningful community partnerships to support the success of children, youth and families in the cities of Mountain View, Los Altos and Los Altos Hills. The Challenge Team brings together leaders from school districts, city and county services, parent and student groups, and other non-profit organizations to serve youth and strengthen our community.


Child Advocates of Silicon Valley Child Advocates matches trained volunteers with foster children to ensure that their needs and best interests are met. Their volunteers are court-appointed, allowing them to thoroughly research every aspect of a child’s case, including meeting teachers, social workers and foster parents.


Community Health Awareness Council (CHAC) The Community Health Awareness Council provides alternatives to self-destructive behavior and helps create healthy lives for the children and families of Mountain View, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, and surrounding communities.


Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA) CSMA inspires excellence through art and music education for people of all ages and abilities.


Community Services Agency (CSA) CSA is the community’s safety net, providing critical support services that preserve and promote stability, self-reliance and dignity.


Computer History Museum The mission of the Computer History Museum is to preserve and present for posterity the artifacts and stories of the Information Age.


Day Worker Center of Mountain View The Day Worker Center connects workers and employers in a safe and supportive environment while empowering workers to improve their socio-economic condition and participating in advocacy efforts that support the day laborer community.

Through service learning, leadership training, and grant making activities, the E3 program educates, engages, and empowers junior high and high school age youth to effect positive change in their local and global communities.

El Camino Hospital Foundation El Camino Hospital Foundation raises money to help El Camino Hospital in Mountain View and El Camino Hospital Los Gatos best meet the health needs of the communities they serve. These funds enable the hospital to offer state-of-the-art care to its patients while underwriting its efforts to provide health services to the economically disadvantaged.


El Camino Hospital Rotacare The RotaCare Clinic of Mountain View provides medical services to those with the most need and least access to care. The clinic’s dedicated volunteer staff provides care to 2,600 patients annually.


El Camino Roadrunners RoadRunners is a transportation service provided by El Camino Hospital Auxiliary volunteers. Transportation is provided for medical, dental, or any health related appointments as well as to senior centers, local banks, beauty shops and markets.


Los Altos Festival of Lights parade losaltosfestivaloflights@gmail.com The Los Altos Festival of Lights Parade annually puts on a parade to bring the community together to share the warmth of the holiday season. Each year the parade is one of Los Altos most popular events.


Foothill De Anza Colleges Foundation FOUNDATION@FHDA.EDU The mission of the Foothill De Anza Foundation is to change student lives by raising and investing funds to support the educational excellence of Foothill and De Anza colleges.


Fresh Lifelines for Youth (FLY) FLY is dedicated to breaking the cycle of violence, crime and incarceration of teens. Through FLY’s unique combination of programs-legal education, leadership training, and mentoring-youth get back on track with their lives.


Friends of Deer Hollow Farm Deer Hollow Farm is a 160 year old historical teaching homestead farm at the edge of the Silicon Valley. Each year, this farm hosts 126,000 visitors, including thousands of students.
