Los Altos Community Foundation’s nonprofit incubation program has been inspiring people to address local needs and strengthen community for over 20 years. We provide the resources and support to jumpstart social entrepreneurs so they can focus on their mission to help our community.
Currently, LACF sponsors the following nonprofit organizations in our community:
- Center for Age-Friendly Excellence (CAFE)
- GreenTown Los Altos
- House2Home Connection
- Listos Mountain View
- Los Altos Forward / First Friday
- MVLA Scholars
- Service League of Boys Mountain View – Los Altos (SLOBs)
- Soil & Water; A Mountain View Community Learning Garden
- Stanford Changemakers
- (Terrible Adult Chamber Orchestra) TACO
To us, inspiring people, also means taking on new – and innovative – philanthropy initiatives. Through LACF’s leadership, Google, LinkedIn, Symantec and Synopsys contributed to the Inspire Mountain View initiative, awarding $525,000 in grants to nine nonprofits to make their “hometown” community more equitable, compassionate, and a better place to work and play.
Do you have a great idea for a new nonprofit serving the Los Altos, Los Altos Hills and Mountain View communities? To learn more about how LACF can help, please contact Joe Eyre, Executive Director, at 650-949-5908 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
