LEAD runs from January to May each year. It is an ideal way to learn more about Los Altos and Los Altos Hills local government, education, local non-profits and business interests. Participants have included those who are:
- New to the area or lived here for years
- Contemplating City Council, School Board or a Commission
- Interested in giving back to our community
Local Los Altos and Los Altos Hills area residents are invited to participate in the LEAD program, where you meet current leaders in all these areas, learning about the programs that support today’s community, and how to become involved.
Join community leaders from education (superintendents and trustees), healthcare CEO’s, nonprofit executive directors, elected and appointed city government officials (mayors, city managers, commission chairs), business and social innovators in interactive conversations during 11 class sessions. Organizations, visions, challenges are all discussed in an intimate setting with approximately 25 class participants.
