The Los Altos Community Foundation is comprised of citizens who care deeply about strengthening the community, making it an enriching place to live and work, preserving and expanding its historic and cultural assets, and supporting community nonprofits that serve those in need.
The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of local community leaders, and operates on a committee structure to provide support to the many facets of the Foundation, including finance, grantmaking, programs, development, planned giving, investment, and more. The Board meets the 4th Wednesday of each month, from 7:30-9:00am, at the Neutra House, 181 Hillview Avenue, Los Altos.
The Foundation’s staff includes our founder and Executive Director, an Office Administrator, a Finance Director, a Director of Development & Marketing, and 3 part-time Program Officers who provide for the day-to-day leadership of the Foundation.
LACF encourages and welcomes community members to become active in the Foundation, through volunteering on the Board or a committee, participating in a Foundation program, establishing a charitable fund, and by joining us as a donor to help provide financial support that make LACF’s programs and projects possible.
