For over 20 years, Los Altos Community Foundation’s nonprofit incubation program has been inspiring people to address local needs and strengthen community. We provide the resources and support to jumpstart social entrepreneurs so they can focus on their mission to help our community.
Currently, LACF sponsors the following local nonprofit organizations:
- Center for Age-Friendly Excellence (CAFE)
- GreenTown Los Altos
- House2Home Connection
- Listos Mountain View
- Los Altos Forward / First Friday
- MVLA Scholars
- Service League of Boys Mountain View – Los Altos (SLOBs)
- Soil&Water; A Mountain View Community Learning Garden
- Stanford Changemakers
- (Terrible Adult Chamber Orchestra) TACO
- Together We Can
To us, inspiring people also means fostering the spirit of giving back through volunteerism. In addition to the scores of volunteers that support our incubated nonprofits, LACF's first-ever Volunteer Fair attracted hundreds of residents to learn how to give back and our new online Nonprofit Directory features 100+ local nonprofits.
Do you have a great idea for a new nonprofit serving the Los Altos, Los Altos Hills and Mountain View communities? To learn more about how LACF can help, please contact Joe Eyre, Executive Director, at 650-949-5908 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
