Thank You to Our Annual Sustaining Sponsors
Los Altos Community Foundation hosts several signature events each year to promote philanthropy, celebrate our donors, and introduce community members to the Foundation.
Our signature events include:
THE GARDNER AWARDS
The Gardner Awards is one of the largest – and most highly anticipated – local celebrations of outstanding volunteerism. It honors dedicated volunteers who have given their time and effort to make a difference at local nonprofits.
The celebration regularly attracts community leaders, philanthropists, professionals, and elected officials. The next Gardner Awards will be held in 2020. #GardnerAwards2020
LEGACY CIRCLE LUNCHEON
LACF’s annual Legacy Circle Luncheon recognizes our most forward-thinking and committed donors – those who have included LACF in their estate plans or interested in doing this. LACF’s Legacy Circle members are the true philanthropic leaders of our community.
SUMMER SOLSTICE CELEBRATION
Held annually in June, the Summer Solstice Celebration is an elegant garden party held at a private residence. It is an opportunity for the community to learn more about the Foundation and typically attracts 250+ guests.
ANNUAL VOLUNTEER FAIR
Join the fun and get involved! LACF's Annual Volunteer Fair invites community members of all ages to find out about local volunteer opportunities directly from participating nonprofits. Held in late August, the Fair is typically located on the Third Street Green in Downtown Los Altos.
ANNUAL LACF BRUNCH
Community members and donors look forward to the annual champagne brunch held in October at the Los Altos Golf and Country Club. This event features a keynote speaker and updates on LACF programs and accomplishments throughout the year.
DONOR APPRECIATION EVENING
Held annually in early December the Donor Appreciation Evening is a festive celebration honoring our donors for their support of LACF.
