Recent Grants

In FY18, Los Altos Community Foundation granted over $1.1 million dollars to local nonprofits, programs, schools, and public-benefit causes through its Community Grants.


CG” represents grants given by LACF’s Grantmaking committee. This committee is made up of community members and awards grants two times a year. These grants are funded in partnership with the David and Lucille Packard Foundation and the Heising-Simons Foundation.

E3” represents grants given by LACF’s E3 Youth Philanthropy Program. For students in 10th-12th grades, E3 teaches community service, leadership, and grantmaking. The program solicits grant applications and awards approximately $10,000 in grants each Spring.
